Reviews from users

Shibby Shibbz: Honestly, I have been playing this game for about a year and a half and I am still not bored bc it is just a great retro time killer. I originally was looking for the "Oregon trail" bc I use play it in grade school but found this and LOVE it! I hope the development team come out with an updated version with new aspects. That being said I am still completely happy with this game. I have told everyone that likes retro strategy about this! Just saying I don't speak of things not worthy.

Tim Whitehead: Wow! So much old school memories. All I did was repair the car. Sell Stuff to buy scrap to attempt to repair the car in mini wrench and bolt game. Drive some then repair the car. Sell ammo, food and your grandmother to buy scrap to try and fail to repair the car. Then it breaks down and you trade, and walk around looking for scrap to... Guess what... Repair the car. This game should be called: Repairing the car on the zombie trail.

Marco Sauret: If you liked the original Oregon trail, you'll fall madly in love with this game, just like I did! I have played it 4 times already, and each experience is a bit different. Simple, and complex at the same time, couldn't ask for a better rendition of an all-time classic!

SweetMusicT: The saves are broken, if I leave the game then come back, the games I've saved aren't there, I also have to restore purchase every time, so the game doesn't seem to save anything, pls fix. The game is fun. Edit: thanks for fixing the save problem and everything.

Iván Gil Ibañez: A really good game. I enjoy the graphics and the music, and the gameplay is tightly immersive; the minigames are fun enough, and none of them ever got boring or hard. You'll spend a lot of bullets, tires, food and hours trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic America.

Amor: The game is fine but a big issue that I have with it is the aiming mechanic. Shooting with anything other than the shotgun will probably lead to you missing the target. On top of that, it takes too long to adjust where you're aiming, so much so that I would often get attacked by zombies because my gun decided to aim to the side and I didn't have enough time to adjust it.

Bradley Deans: At the moment the game will have one star. This is not my critique of the game, because I can't even play it. I have a very annoying bug (or at least I think it is.) At the very start of the game during the shooting tutorial, when the player runs out ammo, normally Clements will spawn on the right hand side of the screen. Unfortunately that does not happen and I die every single time. I hope someone will see this so that I can eventually play the game I paid for.

A Google user: It is a true homage to the original game "The Oregon Trail" (1985), and I love the retro graphics and "zombified" revision of the game with the additional sense of humour. BUT. Game got boring too fast; mini games are not appealing enough to me. Just wanted to finish it as early as possible. It is not I expected more for the couple of euros I paid, but I felt a bit disappointed by the supposedly best indie game of 2013.

A Google user: controls take a bit to get used to but all in all a good game. I have it on the vita and its great. Using touch instead of a controller makes it harder. Also there is a bug where the sound cuts out. hope it get an update to fix this and maybe controller support.

A Google user: Although I haven't even bought the expansion yet, I'm blown away at how clean the controls are. There's whimsy, challenge, and quick fun anytime you need to burn a couple of minutes or an entire hour. My only complaint is that there seems to be a bug where sound cuts out if I receive a notification. Outside of that, AMAZING!
