Reviews from users

Rosanna Palermo: Since I started playing in 2015 it has changed for the worse. First the fighting paradigm, then expansion $ skyrocketed , the number and size of blgs went up and they started allowing players to cheat using push cities and bots galore, making it impossible for fellowships that play "straight" to stay in the top 3. I reported this to INNO and was ignored. Too many quests/events for cheap rewards. A+ for graphics, but now the game play sucks and, clearly, it's just a cash cow for Inno.

Pamela Jean: I enjoy the game, but the app crashes repeatedly and makes it extremely difficult and frustrating. Edit: since the last event I have been repeatedly booted off game and gotten the message that " something is wrong, check your internet".... nothing wrong with my internet, nor any other app. Contacted support and was told to clear cache, already done, uninstall game, already done, update and now I can't even log in. After four years or more I am done....too many bugs. Wish I could say goodbye to fs

Aaron Linus Ashley, MS: Elvenar is a terrific game which teaches patience, problem solving skills, and other technical challenges. I have played it for years. However, recently when my bandwidth ran out, I was consistently unable to open the game through wifi alone over the course of a couple of weeks. Please include a game update which allows the game to properly connect with the internet through Wi-Fi alone also, or else it's an unfair advantage to others. Thank you.

Teresa Martinez: I like this game! It starts slow, but as you progress and gain momentum it can become very addicting! The challenge of building on the grid with unidirectional structures isn't a problem, just another element of the game. This isn't a pay to play game - there's lots of opps progress w/o spending $. The community is super nice/ helpful too and the artwork is beautiful, it's mainly what keeps me coming back! Suggestion: Storylines for the villagers.

ReedusNA: This is an okay game. It's free, has lots of content, and a detailed and we'll structured advancement track. The game is intuitive and straight forward so nothing seems too complex (yet). One thing that is turning me off is the availability of the premium currency. The cost is too high, the benefit is too low, and there isn't a way to get any "for free" besides some events. There is no watching an ad service, which has pros and cons depending on the player. Times of buildings seem a little long.

Sethyria Boulley: I love this. Got tired of pay to win games where you just keep getting attacked and lose everything. It's not really an "any time, just jump on and go" though. It's still a building game and it takes time. No paying, NO ADS, not many notifs, no attacking except npc. If anyone tells you you HAVE to pay for this game, they're trying hard to play wrong. There's no "falling behind either," since it's based on your city. It's a game designed around helping each other. Soft, gorgeous, easy, free

A Google user: Good game -- would be better if building could rotate. Would def up star rating if they added that option. As it is now, the buildings tend to take up more land space than they need to. Especially as you upgrade them. Land is expensive to buy (with diamonds that cost actual money) or by completing research missions (that can take a while to complete) so you end up having to sell things, waste space or wait forever to get the small 5x5 piece of land.

A Google user: This game is pretty, but frustrating. Game is slow to load and the transitions between screens are also slow. Clicking on tightly packed buildings is an exercise in frustration. Often I'll get the wrong building and if I'm not careful I'll accidental start building the wrong item. Game progress is limited by material "beverages". So far the only way to get more is to build them at the workshops. They take 5 minutes to build. Not opening the game that often! Safe yourself the hassle.

A Google user: well to be honest I like the game, but there is a couple things that are bad. for one, when you are researching, there is a point where you have to research a scouting tech. and u t does nothing at all. and the enemies on the world map get to the point where its impossibly to win against them. another thing, there is an overlay glitch with the event buildings.

A Google user: While I have only ever played this game on mobile (I've never even seen what it looks like on PC) I like it a lot but it seems as though a lot is missing from the mobile version. I came into this game knowing absolutely nothing about it and I just figured it was like most other village builders. I wish I had either done a little research or the game itself explained how it WAS NOT like the others. Now that I know, it is fascinating to have to deal with the "limited" building and space conflicts. I rather like the puzzle behind it all I just wish I knew sooner. I like the dependency on the trade system but it seems like there are some VERY common items (steel and scrolls) and not very many people get lucky enough to be boosted in the others. Maybe I just happened to get on a server with mostly those two? I think it would be very nice if you could choose what 3 boosted items you wanted to be. Even better if you could see the % of players with each boosted item on a server before you started a new game. Another thing I don't like is the building part itself; more specifically when it comes time to upgrade or rearrange your village. You pretty much either have to keep open/wasted space so you can slide buildings around or you have to sell buildings. Neither of those things are very fun at all. Some other games I've played like this always have a separate building screen (much like the sell/rearrange screen) where you can pick up and put buildings into an inventory, so you don't have to sell them. Again, maybe this is part of the challenge? While we are talking building upgrades, and maybe it's because I haven't been playing long enough, but I find the #x# size confusing. I know that's a fairly simple thing but when I am planning for the future and trying to leave grow room, I always seem to leave space in the wrong direction. This could be an easy fix on the building pictures with an X y diagram of maybe I just need to play longer. I hear that the PC version let's you have a lot more control on battle attacks. Mobile you just pick 5 and go. I would also like to view other villages in mobile like you can on PC but it's not necessary, I just want to know how my village stacks up (and to see the beautiful artwork of bigger villages of course) And lastly, you can chat on mobile but you can't direct message or any other kind of message like my PC fellowship members can. I feel like I'm missing from that the most. Especially when it comes time for adventures. Other than those things, I think this game is great and I will be playing it for a very long time to come.
