In the future, humans have redefined internet development and connections. We can now easily sync the real world with the internet world, changing life as we have known for thousands of years.

In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies…

Reviews from users

Abi M: Fantastic rhythm game. In my experience, great song selection, generous amount of starting content, excellent gameplay, and interesting story. My only real complaint is the $10 each price of the DLC character song packs. There are 'sales' on a semi-frequent basis, however. Though a bit pricey, it' still probably worth it. I also can't move the app to my external storage, which is frustrating because it's HUGE, it takes up over 4 GB on my little 16 gig phone. The game still runs smoothly though.

Aasim Syed: This is a great game. I initially downloaded this on iOS over a year ago when the app was still free. I finished the story and man, it was fun. I do have a couple of suggestions to improve cross-platform play but I can definitely recommend this game to other rhythm gamers. 1. Have a "sign in to Rayarkpass" option. I had to grind through all the Cytus II story again when I switched to Android and there was no way to transfer from iOS to Android cloud save. Rayarkpass would allow me to sync my data across devices. 2. Expand the boundaries of the virtual Internet to the real world and insert a level editor for Cytus II. I love the mechanic of the game but I am disappointed that there is no way to add custom levels. I still love the game without it, and some of the music from the game has made it into my playlist.

Claire Sharpe: Sooooo much better than Cytus. The UI in Cytus was impossible. I could never tell what was going on, even on easy. But here every move is a different color and presented well. There's a story, that at first I ignored, but now I'm kinda getting into. I plan to buy the DLC characters once my main are leveled all the way. The only think I didnt like was the cut scenes are unskippable and then they want you to watch them again in a folder. You can skip them in the folder but meh.

Erin Lewin: Every piece of music in this game is an absolute banger and you get so much content for the small entry price. The rhythm system takes a little getting used to, but once you do, its smooth and effective. I have spent so many trips on transit playing this game, and with the gripping story it provides (yeah, a rhythm game with a good story) this is an easy 10/10 for me. The only "problem" I can think of is that, personally, I think the price of some of the expansions are a little too high.

ywoanna: The game is very beautiful and fun, and many songs are very challenging. I wish there were more Hatsune Miku songs. That was the main reason I got this game, and I love it! Its designs are creative and new, and the game is super fun! edit: did they change the illustrator?? the recent illustrations, especially the main illustrations of the characters (kizuna and alice), are becoming worse and seems like they are getting off track.

Randyn Gries: One of my favorite rhythm games of all time. It has an amazing story that is well written and paced to keep you on the edge of your seat, and they ease you into harder difficulties to make the game playable unlike some game. With the new patch though i can barely get through one song without it crashing and I've even lost levels because of it. Please fix soon.

A Google user: Although you would have to use money if you're impatient and really want to unlock all the music categories, the gameplay itself is seriously fun. Cytus I was (no offense) not really as good as this was (in my opinion), as this version makes it much easier to spot and differentiate different notes, and it was much more organized and easy to find which songs go in which category.

A Google user: It's a rhythm game. Song selection and variety are all nice, though most of it does dabble with electronic sounds. Pretty standard moving bar gameplay. What I wasn't expecting was the narrative of this game. How it expands the world in the form of forum/news threads. A rhythm game like this really didn't need a world and characters to expand and learn about. Cytus II is a pretty good rhythm game with its very solid gameplay and selection of music. But it's the narrative that keeps me playing.

A Google user: This is personally my favourite mobile game. The gameplay has a nice flow to it along with the music and even the story is great if you take the time to read it. Each character has a different kind of genre kind of thing on the variety of music and is nicely spread out but the only problem I have with the game really is that as of this post there is a total of 8 dlc that cost 10 dollars each and even song packs that range up to 5 dollars. its a shame that all these great beat maps are locked.

A Google user: The biggest issue I have is the notes I hit are not registering. Especially in hard mode. I had taken care of any other factors such as sweaty fingers, or a dirty screen. I knew that having to restart the level many times due to thinking I was going insane when I wasn't hitting those notes when I really was, I was able to know the placement of said notes. Even the easy notes in where they came up once, when I tapped them, hard or soft, they had a good chance of not registering for me.
